The game will last 7 Days and whoever can produce the best edited image (as judged by me) will be picked and it'll be their turn to post their unedited picture for all of us to take a crack at.

What I'm looking for: No preconceived ideals on this one, let's just see what people come up with.

The participants must have their "Image Editing OK" turned on and they must provide at least a simple breakdown of how they edited the image, some entrants are a little vague on this point, please give us all details so we can learn and share tips. For instance if you use the unsharp mask tool or Smart Sharpen, provide us with the adjustments you used so others can try them out.

You can post multiple images, but the first image you post will be the one that is judged - all other images will be considered for knowledge and tip use only.

Also, please keep all comments, be they positive or negative, to yourself until after the game has ended.

If you happen to be the winner of the game please start the next one with the title of the game and the following number. For example…the next game should read "Before & After #390."

Ends on Thursday, November 3rd, at 7:00 pm CST

I went for an Old West type theme, by changing the color blance to portray more green and yellow hues, added a "supernova", which ended up being too bright so I toned it down to about 50%, enjoy!

Amidst a conversation about her past as an established equestrian, we drove by a wonderful barn filled with horses. I watched as she swiftly unrolled her window and took a deep breath through her nose, letting the sweet aroma fill her lungs. A true horsewoman, I thought. EOS Rebel T3

Increased exposure, raised mid-tones to separate the cow on the left from the tub behind it. puppet warp in PS5. crop and resize.

I kept it simple this time, cropped a little, adjusted contrast, increased cyan yellow and green sat levels

Hopefully I'm not too late :P

-Photoshoped some clouds, desaturated them (set to Darken)
-Added an image of some VERY light rain - desaturated that (set to Darken)
-Desaturated the main picture.
-Merged then duplicated, added a gausian blur (set at 4) then set to Overlay
-Merged back down, auto contrast plus a slight adjustment to the levels
-And here's the final piece!

SimplyEuphoric - Nice edit, I like the colors, I'm not sure about the supernova, over all well done.

T3HeavyShop - Great job with separating the cow from the tub, I hadn't even thought of that. Interesting effect on the windmill, almost would have been interesting if it was more drastic like the Salvador Dali painting with the melting clocks.

08Photog - Nice bright edit, tho now that its been pointed out, I feel like I need to see the hidden cow LOL, over all very nice edit.

ZchDnn - I like B&W, I like the mood it sets for this photo & the added clouds are nice, tho I'm not sure they would go all the way to the ground which is why I'm not sold on it fully. Otherwise well done.

This round goes to 08Photog. Great job everyone!

& just because I like to show what I did with the photo too I'll post mine. I got rid of the hidden cow LOL! Tho my cows are too dark & I don't care for the edit at all. I like a mixture of T3's cows & 08's sky = perfect photo ;)
