Update: Please see post # 165. Entire original supply is gone. This thread will serve as the waiting list in case I receive more gel holders. As stated many, many times throughout this thread (please read through entire thread), DO NOT send me a private message, that only clogs up my in-box. Unsolicited PMs regarding the gel holders will be deleted.

I finished giving a couple of workshops on the use of colored gels for color-correction and also for artistic purposes (adding color to images). I have about a hundred gel holders left over. They are brand new, and I don't need them. So I am giving them away for free.

They fold flat, so you can store them in the case with your Speedlite, or you can conveniently tuck them away in any pocket of your camera bag. You can use them to hold a single gel, or you can stack multiple gels (which I covered in the workshop). Since they are simply held to the Speedlite with a rubber band, there's no need to use velcro, tape, or anything sticky. You can position the gel with a slight air gap in front of the flash head to dissipate heat.

If you want one, just send me a self-addressed stamped envelope. Since they fold flat and weigh practically nothing, a standard letter-size envelope and stamp are sufficient. No extra postage is necessary. They're free while they last. I have about a hundred of them, and I'm only keeping a couple for myself, so the supply should last a while. PM me for my address. I'll respond with the address to send the self-addressed stamped envelopes as long as the supply lasts. When they are all gone, I'll indicate so and I'll lock this thread.

Here's a picture showing a few of the holders, including one on a Speedlite. (Sorry about the crappy picture, all I had was a point & shoot)The manufacturer gave them to me for free in exchange for some photo work. ... He just gave me waayyyyy more than I needed for my workshops, so I figured I'd pass on his generosity to all of you.

Please see post #23 to get on the waiting list for the free gel holders. Please DO NOT clog up my mail box by sending a PM at this time

PM sent.

How many can each person get? Don't want too many, but 3-5 would be great. Thanks!

Oh, thank you for your generosity !! After viewing this thread about using gels to change the color of backgrounds, I was hoping to find a good way to hold the gels to my flash. This will work great !! Thank you so much !!
