Fog at First Light

Fortunate enough to pull myself out of bed the morning of this photo before the sun crossed the horizon. Made my way to a little pond north of a reservoir to find a nice slow moving layer of fog slightly obscuring the final autumn color changes of the season.

Nope, sure didn't. It's all from the fog that was moving on the lake.

Okay, so it must just be atmospheric - the sky looked a bit softer and I wished it wasn't - but you can't tell those fog particles to stop bending light around I guess ;)

Lovely!! Great light! This time of year is great because you don't have to wake up at 4am to get these shots, it's much easier getting up at 6:30!
