Might have been more beneficial to have put focus on the Fleur-de-lis closer in the frame? Maybe the 2nd one in? Did you take multiple shots from this spot with different focal points? One thing I've done in the past and know many people do is to 1-use a tripod but 2 - try out 3 or so focal points or aperture settings and then later compare and or combine them for the finished product. 5D MKII-Gripped / T2i / 17-40f/4L / 28-300f/3.5-5L IS / 70-200f/4L / canon 2x II extender / Cheapo 600-1300 Telephoto+2x converter / carbon fiber kick A tripod / a partridge in a pear tree.
