Hey, thanks for that! I assume that bug fix #2 is about the 5D2, right?

If you check out the last couple posts in this thread, you'll see that one of the "gang" is having problems with the new release on his Mac with the latest OS -- maybe you would have some input?:

Yeah, I don't mind the minor upgrades, but I don't get excited util a new feature comes out. So I don't rush for the minor updates!

Well, just installed it under Windows 7 64 bits and it seems to work well.

I have noticed that in the preferences, under Tool Palette tab there are now different noise reduction settings : for RAW files and for JPEG/TIFF files. I don't remember if it was there in previous versions.

Ah, that's good to know! I have mine set to zero, but for some folks it could be useful!

Anyone having issues with it on a MAC? Just keeps crashing. I deleted DPP via app delete and reinstalled it and tied again and the same thing. Had to delete, reinstall DPP again and went with the previous update and everything is fine.

OX = Lion and I installed the latest one Canon offered via 10.6 OS.

Well, I use Snow Leopard, but as you're aware, Lion is 10.7. So I'm not terribly surprised an app built for SL doesn't work…

Edit: Stupid software still requires you to log in as Admin, then reboot the machine after installing… What is this? 1998?

Anyway, not seeing any issues on my MBP running OSX 10.6.8 and DPP 3.11.1

Then again, only opened it for a quick test…

Thanks. Lion being 10.7 makes sense. Sometimes you can get away with it. Yes the reboot was the pain. You need to restart the computer after installing DPP and then after then update. I was not having any fun

If Canon went to town with DPP and improved the interface by adding more features, sped it up, got rid of the reboot thing, etc. I would pay for it. Two versions - current entry level and the upgrade to DPP Pro. Digital Photo Professional - Professional :)

It has been like that for ages, since 3.4 at least.
