Hi there, thinking of getting a Xoom soon and wondered if anybody had any experience of the tablet? In particular using it view your images on location.

Thinking I will buy the camera adapter and take it with me on photoshoots to view the images with the model/clients as the small screen on the 1D Mkii makes it difficult to view sometimes.

Sounds like an exception to the rule. The Xoom is a fantastic tablet, better than the iPad2 pre-iOS 5.0 even. Currently though, I'd spring for a Tab 10.1 over a Xoom.

The son is an Android developer, not sure what he was doing with it but it didn't work. I think he's still got it, but it's not used.

It certainly had its "quirks" early on, but most complaints were resolved. His issues could lie with the new Honeycomb OS itself, which Xoom was the first to the market with. I am not a developer, but as a power user I really enjoyed my Xoom while I had it (about 3-4 months).

Is the xoom still made? I thought it was eol'd.

"Raw" is not an acronym, abbreviation, nor a proper noun; thus, it should not be in capital letters.
