I like 'em -- a lot! I think #s 1, 3 and 6 are your best shots. In #2 the awkward position of the player on the left (player #4) and cropped off head of the player in the background detract from the shot. #7 isn't as crisp as the others and doesn't measure up to the talent you show in the rest of your stuff. Colors in all shots are excellent.

Jerry ~ Baseball is a game where only defensive players handle the ball and offensive players who hit successfully in only one third of their at bats are among the best in the sport.

Good stuff Saggy - a nice set... That low autumnal sun certainly makes for some good quality light.

My only general comment is that I wonder if they'd have a little bit more impact if they were shot from a lower angle? or maybe not... just pondering.

Gavin
I intended to take my wee folding seat with me but as usual left it to the last minute and then could not find it but as it was the pitch was surrounded by houses and parked cars so maybe the backgrounds from a lower angle would have been to distracting
shooting from lower is something I need to do more but first I need a sturdier seat for my 19 stone scottish frame ???? the wee three leg tripod affair is a bit dodgy on the soft ground ?????

I can see what you mean by the cars Saggy and, yep, the grass probably makes for a better background anyway... I've also found that stools (3 or 4 legged) do tend to sink in to soggy turf  I tend to carry some of my kit in a Peli case nowadays and sit on that instead! ;)
