Folks - Did some searches and didn't come up with anything... Can y'all help a noob out?
What type of sequence do you follow for a friendly photo shoot? Say, for example my case, where the wife and I are enjoying a picnic in the park and I want to get some pics. Do you start wide and move in, do you work in a circle, etc... Basically I've got (5) minutes worth of patience and need to get the most out of it! Thanks,

I usually look for two things, the light and the background (no set sequence). when I see that clicks (no pun intended), I go for it. most of the time, I just take a shot, move a few degree and shot again. you'll be surprise how many shots you can do in a single position just by moving the camera angle.
