Any and all C&C is welcome. The sun was pretty harsh with alot of shadows, but I did the best I could.

I took about 100 photos of these two, and only ended up with about 10 that I really liked!

It's better to take a bunch and end up with a few, rather then a few and end up with none!

They look good. Id brighten the first two up a tad.

The 3rd one is a little dark on the dogs face. Try bumping the exposure up a bit.
Nothing wrong with these shots. :)

Try different angles, don't be afraid to roll around on the ground(I do all the time when I photograph pets!). I would photograph the dogs closer in these pics. I use squeaky balls and make ridiculous sounds to get quirky and cute expressions and perky ears. Watch the shadows in the 3rd pic, it would look better if he was in a spot like the first two pics. Also, pet photos always look better when they are naked..no collars :)

Fill flash can be useful in difficult conditions like these. It helps you get catchlights in the dog's eyes, and can brighten up the shadows on their faces. Look for shaded locations too - shade is better than bright sunlight, especially for a white dog. Ditto for the collars - or, if you don't take them off, at least turn them around so the medals aren't visible. When photographing dogs, I always carry a small whistle, which I blow just before taking the shot, so the dog puts its ears up and looks at the camera.
