looks like thats integrated graphics. definelty NOT the best choice in the world. get a separate graphics card. there are cheapo nvidia fx5200s or a step up 6200s out there. fx isnt the best series but i think its cheap enough for you to get and should do the job with dvi. make sure your motherboard has an agp slot. heres a generic picture to locate it

and if you game a bit, these cards will do your games a little more justice.

So i decided to get a new card, when I look at the back of my pc, beside my vga port is a printer port, and the other side has some other inputs, so if I changed my card to another one with DVI input, there is no space there for the dvi port!?? can I slot it somewhere instead of replacing the existing card?

um, the vga port you are conecting your monitor to is part of the motherboard. back of your computer should look like this

you see those horizontal slots that are blocked up right now? one of those pertains to your agp port (provided you have one). all you need to do is get a video card, open your computer, plug your video card into the agp port, close it up, load software and youre done. leave the exisiting video vga port alone and all other slots that are vertical.

quick instruction: motherboard stands and is bolted vertically in your pc case on the left side (if looking directly at the back of your computer) which is why your integrated motherboard graphics is vertical too since its, simply, part of the motherboard and which is why your printer port (parallel) is vertical too. all other add on cards will plug into the motherboard and go horizontal.

open your computer, make sure you have a agp port first before going out to buy a video card. if you dont we may have to go pci.
