Yes .... in fact we do get rain! Not that anybody here knows how to drive when it rains but brides really get nervous as their day was planned with California sun in mind.

When it does rain we actually have a bit of fun and go with it!

A few samples from yesterdays rained out event:

Thank you Bridesmaid for keeping one of our spare 1D camera bodies out of the rain!!

I like most of these and the umbrellas actually help in some of the shots.

2 would be better without the tilt and 4 would be great if the bridesmaid on the right had a better pose/angle to the camera.

We were just down in Orange county this past weekend. I have to admit I've only done one wedding in the rain and I can't even imagine how to deliver if we were shooting and it were to rain that hard. I'm glad you made the most of it!

Way to make it work. Nice job.

I have a wedding this Friday, and I'm a little concerned about the weather... It's a morning wedding, so hopefully the rain holds out till the afternoon.

For those who want to see lots of "conventional" horizontal horizon (boring) images from this wedding ... well....
I'm finally done post processing ALL of the images from last week's California Rainy Wedding! ..Enjoy..

Tilting a horizon does not make a boring photo interesting, nor vice versa.

The lines still lead to the same place, whether you tilt or not, don't they?
