Here in Japan, こうよう or fall foliage is something most people look forward to after the hot, humid summer. In my prefecture (Yamanashi), it is known for having many nature spots and fruit farms.

I hiked through this ravine about two weeks ago. I saw some scenes that I would've never been able to see if I was still back in L.A. Let me know what you think. CC is always welcomed.

All were shot with a 40D and the Sigma 10-20mm.

This is right outside the entrance to the ravine. Its a classic-styled building.

There were a fair amount of muddy trails, wooden stairs, and wet rocks that I had to navigate through.

And finally, I reached the stream and got to play with my B+W ND110 filter. I had NO tripod, so I had to steady it on a rock.

And, my best shot:

Really rugged trail, but worth it because of the beauty.

I especially like the last shot of the falls, but since the people on the path are blurred from their movement I think I would just clone them out of the picture.

I really like the last shot but I agree the blur of the people is distracting so I'd clone it out.

Thanks for the advice. I have a lot to learn with PS to make things look smooth.
