hi all, i have a Canon EOS - 500D, and i want to know the limit of shutter clicks, is there any software for this???and is it possible to rewind it by myself???? thank you...

First of all, the shutter rating can be found on google. Second, it is an average, your camera could last for 5000000000000000 clicks for all you know.

Also, resetting the shutter count is not going to help..

The shutter will still have gone through a certain number of actuations regardless of what the camera thinks.

Your shutter does not magically stop working at a certain number.

There is no limit, just an estimate of how long it might last - kind of like a car engine.
