How far up the food chain is "sectional"? How many levels to go after that to win state?

Each class has a sectional. There are eight sectional champions per class, so this puts Carmel in the elite eight in 5a (highest class in Indiana). Warren Central was ranked #15 in the country prior to this game by MaxPreps.
