Here are some photos I took of a 1962 Fury we restored. I'd like to start taking car we finish to actual locations rather than the front of our shop but being shop owners.... arent that many hours in a day. LOL I was hoping to start taking photos for antique car owners b/c they love nice shots of their cars to bring places with spec's about their cars. If you've gone to car shows, you may know what I'm talking about.

So dont look at the location really, but rather the angle of the cars. Are they decent shots ignoring the surroundings? LOL

Pamela

These things are lethal for sure. These things are bad@$$!

When I shoot cars from the angle in the quote above, I like to have them turn the wheel one way or the other. I think it gives a little more aggressive look. Similar to this:

http://autocarsnews.info …1970-1971-1972-1973-1974/ (external link)

At times it can show off the rim style or front discs that some of the boys are so proud of.

I've also had good/bad results with using a circular polarizer to cut down on the glare from the glass during the day. It can also make the color of the car really pop as well.

Just my 2 cents.

@hyofoo... thank you for your input.... I appreciate it! I see what you mean about turning the wheel. Will remember that for next time.

@Stargazerfrank... thank you!

Pamela...oh it gives me such great pleasure to see this old Plymouth...friends of our Louie and his wife Phylis owned one of the first production models of this car back in '62...the original had a 413 cubic inch wedge head Ramcharger engine The car they owned had a push button torque-flight automatic trans and a 3.90 posi rear end...the car ran in Super Stock class with "cheater" slicks, soft compound rubber with two groove "treads" cut into the tire so it could be considered street legal.
That car ran eighth mile drags at 95 MPH in 7.90 seconds. The model they had was a "Fury" hard top also, but black , street driven everyday. A true "sleeper" on the street!
Thanks for the memories.
Try setting up at dusk, golden light...tripod, running lights on...three quarter shots...best of luck. Steve B.

I still need to take photos of his white 62 Fury we did. It didn't have all the chrome on when it left the shop so I don't have good photos of it. His Fury's are 200 mph daily drivers. LOL The white one his dad used to drag race. Very nice...but scary rides!

Thanks for the suggestions... appreciate it! I'll have to bring my camera next time I go to the owners house and get photos of the white Fury.

This is my 2nd most favorite Mopar from '62. The worlds ugliest car, the Dart, is the first.

... arent that many hours in a day.

No Problem!Daytime is not the best time to make a car look good. See the links in my Sig.

Sorry, but in the "Share" areas IMAGE POSTING RULES only allow 2 attachments by the OP per thread, OR 8 embedded (linked) images, OR a combination of both totaling 8 per thread. (Maximum 1024 pixels on any side.) You can always just post a link to more, though, or better yet, post a link to a gallery so we don't have to click on each image link.
Some exceptions are group threads, like "Show Me...", "Post your best...", equipment reviews, Tutorials, etc.
You may add a few additional photos if requested, but only in a reply to other member's post and request. And...
