Took a trip to Monterrey Bay Aquarium in California a few months ago. I love these creatures and I though I'd share a few. Hope you like them!

Thanks guys! Here's one more random shot I liked. It's a 1 million gallon "Open Sea" exhibit. Neat stuff, I thought.

What makes them "random"

Are you using a CPL or anything for these shots? or just bare lens?

The jelly fish tanks in the Monterey Bay Aquarium are very photo friendly, the light and background colour of the tanks are great. All I had to do when I went was wipe the greasy fingerprints off the front of the glass.

Now that I think of it, I don't know what makes them random! I just threw up some photos and didn't really think about the title.

These were taken with a bare 28-135 with ambient lighting. SOOC except for levels and resizing.

Thanks Mike and Neil! My wife's trying to plan out a visit for us when we're in the area sometime, since I've never been; just want to be sure I bring the right stuff when we make it :)

If you want to go to the aquarium, go when it opens. The crowd makes it impossible to get a shot later in the day.

Those sharks are beautiful, aren't they? I love that last coastal shot in that group. Makes me want to go back.
