Any time you're looking for something that the photography industry hasnt thought of yet, just look towards the Military/Law Enforcement side of things

I haven't used these personally, but they look really nice

Hatch Specialist. I have used these exact gloves for about 6 years. The fingertip on the index finger tends to wear out after about a year or so with heavy use, but for $20/pair, I just replace them when needed. They are great for mild cold, light wind, and light rain. I buy mine from a local police supply store, but you can get them at Amazon: http://www.amazon.com …oting-Glove/dp/B0050SP6YM (external link)

You can get a version with Thinsulate lining in them for colder weather, but that does make them a little thicker.

Decided to give these a try, but man do we get ripped off in the UK... 39 pounds instead of 29 dollars.
Will see if they were worth it when they arrive next week!

I hate it when they do that! Same issue here in Canada.

I wonder if it would be less expensive to have a US member on the forum buy them, then drop them in a Flat Rate Shipping box to you? Not sure how much the shipping would be, but I'd expect these gloves could be put in a thin envelope and shipped pretty in-expensive??

I could probably get my girlfriend to do it since she's in the States, but its a hassle, shipping would take longer, and I wouldn't be able to return them under the distance selling regulations or as easily if I didn't like them or if the size was wrong. Plus there's always the chance of import tax being slapped on the package. :(

I like these mitten types with the flap-over that uncovers four fingers, velcro on the back to hold the mitten from flapping around. "Thinsulate" so they're very warm! Fully covers fingers when flap is over fingers and it stays put. Easier to to pick up small things with more fingers exposed. Can also uncover only the index finger while keeping the other three covered. It's a very simple design. Great price, $7.99 +tax at a local camera shop.

anyone tried Aquatech sensory gloves?

I bought a pair for this winter, and really like them, and I hate wearing gloves while working.
