Hi, Peeps;
I;ve been off the forums for about the last two months trying to catch up on editing but have run into an infuriating problem no one seems to be able to help me solve. For some reason, when I am trying to select multiple images from a folder to upload to one if my website galleries, I can no longer click on the first image, press shift, click on the last image & have all the images in between be selected. I had a new website developed about two months ago & did run into a few glitches the developers have been able to solve, & I thought this was another one, but yesterday found that the same problem was occurring when I tried to upload multiple images on Facebook. One tech from my web developer thought my Javascript was not enabled, but I went into the safari preferences & it was enabled (I tried unenabling it, re-enabling it and refreshing just to see, but it didn't help) I've done an internet search but everything I found was from a couple years ago, nothing recent. anyone experienced or heard of this & know a solution? It's a pain uploading a wedding collection with 400+ images & having to Command>click to select each one! thanks!

Is using ftp (Fetch for instance) not an option? Or, if you use LR, use the Publish service…

Gave it a quick try (never use it), and it seems the only way to upload multiple images to FB is to use "Create Photo Album" (which by default requires Flash; the "Basic Uploader" does not)
According to FB, it should be possible to add multiple images, but it isn't, at least for me.

Uh, Rene, did you forget who you're talking to? :lol: My website has an admin page and I go to it and let's say I'm making a new gallery for a client; I add the new gallery name, then I click Add Photos & it takes me to a page where I have a Select files button, which I click on then choose the folder the images are in, THEN I am supposed to be able to do the Click>Shift>Click thing & have it select all the images between the first & last. This was working for me at first now suddenly it won't. Same with FB, when creating an album; I used to be able to do the Click>Shift>Click for multiple images, now all of a a sudden -- no go.

No idea. Facebook doesn't work as it's says it should here either, both in Safari and FF7.

You could try a different browser maybe for your website?

Yeah, try Firefox to see if the problem persists. Then you know it's not the web browser.

"Raw" is not an acronym, abbreviation, nor a proper noun; thus, it should not be in capital letters.

Usually the ability to select multiple images is related to the website rather than anything on your computer.

I know I often have problems getting it work on Facebook, and now just use the api in LR3.

I also remember working with a web developer in the past who had trouble making it work on a web based app.
