I have not done a lot of portraits and am trying to move out of my comfort zone and seeking a new challenge. Looking for comments and/or constructive criticism for these natural light portraits. Thanks.

I like the conversion and composition of #1 but the light on his face needs to be raised a bit.

#2 is OK but you've cropped her bottom. Color looks good, assuming it's a sunset/sunrise shot (golden hour).

Both look to be good crisp images.

With portraits,it's all about the eyes. Well,at least to me it is. The eyes draw me in. That's something that these are lacking.
