I really like 5 and I really wish we had those hot hatches over here in North America.

I'm really to happy to see it's in good hands Alan, these are all very impressive. Anyone who says the MKIIN is obsolete should look at these as examples of what it's capable of with the right operator ;)

How are things in general with the new toy?

Strikingly sharp shots.

No.5 in particular is excellent.

Some of the shots look a little more saturated than I would like, not particularly so in the cars, but the background grass/marshalls sometimes look a bit overdone.

John.

Cheers John, right something new for me to learn. How do I affect how saturated my pics are ? I did minimal PP in Capture One or is it a setting in the camera ?

Cheers Alan

Hi Geoff, this was only the second time out I think, my back did not mend for weeks after we meet up and then had some work to catch up with. So as for the camera it is GREAT loving it in fact. I have so many more keepers than before. Looking forward to the next couple of months getting out in the local forests and planning to go to Grizedale.

Hopefully see you and Si out and about.

Alan

It's been a while since I user C1, but there is certainly a saturation slider in there somewhere.

It is possible that this is a calibration image issue, maybe what looks good on your monitor is not the awkward as what we see. Although the issue appears fairly minor, the saturation is only a small amount overcooked.

Good to hear you're backs better and that you're enjoying the camera :)

We'll be out on the Grizedale Stages and the Roger Albert Clark so no doubt we'll bump into you at some point.
