these are pretty good shots; some are a bit tight on the crop.
The skin tone is a bit off (either too green or red)

+1 on the skin tone it seems a bit off

not huge on #7 she looks like she's killing her hands to keep them locked

seems like a nice set they should be happy.

I agree, I'm sorry.... But the skin tones are off to me and my calibrated monitor. the first 5 are all over the place (too cool, too magenta or too yellowy/green) The last three look pretty good, and have a nice warm feel. She is quite beautiful....I'm sure super fun to photograph.
Last one is the winner for me.
Just my 2 cents. :)
Overall, pretty good for a first!

I like #5, though I tend to agree the colors are a bit off.... maybe the saturation is too much, at least that is what it looks like to me. idk

This is now a substantially shorter thread. While we've explicitly stated it in G&N, due to juvenile behaviour there, commenting on the models is not acceptable anywhere in POTN. Confine your comments to the photographic presentation.

you would be surprised at how much you can pick up from just reading what other have to say as well as getting a feel for what type of shots and styles you like.

Are the photos edited or are they out of the camera (raw turned into jpg by you) or jpg out of the camera? I ask because I have seen the trend in photoshopping (with plugins and such) go toward yellowing the skin and desaturating the image. If that was not so in your case I can understand the comments on how the color is off a bit. Otherwise I think you are on the right track and with a few adjustments you will do well. I think you have a nice eye for capturing interesting moments and the feeling between the couple.

Not bad overall for a first time. Cute couple! #5 I wouldn't keep personally because her chin and neck is completely gone in the coat. I'd also rethink the processing to make it more true to life and consistent but I think you're on the right track. Just work on processing, and varying your compositions.. These are all pretty centered so it gives a feeling of sameness.

I am super cool n' stuff.
