Has anyone used the following metallic papers?

Polar Pearl Metallic (Red River)
InkPress Metallic Paper

I'm looking at getting 4x6 sheets so I can test alot of different pictures. There is a quite a big price difference between the two and also a big weight difference. So I'm looking for anyone who has had experience with either/both of them or any other metallic papers that would work in a Pro9000 printer/Pixma IP6600D.

Thanks

Everyday use: 7D2, 1.4x v3 Canon TC (sometimes the 2x v2 Canon TC), Canon 500mm f4 L IS USM; 6D, 24-105L

Red River Polar Pearl Metallic works well in the Canon 9000 (I have the Mark II version). It can produce beautiful prints for some pictures, especially those with white or metallic objects in them. The effect does not work as well with more subtle scenes or with skin. When the scene is right, the results are great.

There's been much talk on this forum and others about metallic prints. Generally, the consensus seems to be that for home (inkjet) printing, the RR Polar Metallic produces about the best metallic effect. I've used it on my Epson, and it's so-so.

But it's also the consensus that no home-printing paper can compare the the Endura metallic prints produced by mpix.

Picture North Carolina, I have also read that you can't compare them to the quality of the Endura metallic. But since I can produce whenever I want them and can give me a way to test before printing anything big from mpix, I figure it is worth getting it and trying it.

If I sell any, they probably wouldn't be able to tell the difference between RR and Endura.

I ordered some of both since the inkpress was only $15 I figured it would be worth it to see what it is like.
