I recently spent time in West Virginia, which has some seriously good scenery. Dunloup Creek has several waterfalls and many cascades. A sampler:

Beautiful series Stan. Love the color in the trees, I think 3 or 4 are my faves but they're all good.

Pretty series! I like the first one the best - the composition, colors, and cascades all look great.

Nice series Stan, I like 3 the best. #1 is very good, but the road distracts too much for me.

John, as one of the better waterfall shooters, your opinion means a lot. Thanks.

Thank you, Paul. That one shows more fall color.

Yep, fall color does it. Thanks for your comment.

Thanks, Kurt. It's a railroad track, but your point is valid. I feel the same, but couldn't figure out how to include the color without it.

Ooooh, train tracks, a long exposure with a train going through would be incredible.

Thanks, Julian. Had a great trip, but no internet access much of the time. Loved the fall colors in WV and NC.

Thanks, Levina. Birds are actually a sideline, for when I'm in FL and have no interesting landscapes to shoot.

Ah, I see. Well, that explains your absence in the birds forum. Then may you return to Florida soon! :) :)
