I struggle to tell my terns apart, so not sure which variety these are.
Went on a trip to moreton island, just off brisbane, with a photography club. Whilst waiting for stragglers to come back to the bus from a dawn shoot, these guys decided our little spot on the beach was a good spot too, and a small group landed there. Needless to say, I was in heaven, and they didn't seem to mind us. Beats sand dunes any day! And my 400 was perfect!

These are great shots Tina, isn't it wonderful when these guys co-operate for their photo shoot.

Excellent shots, Tina. Love the low angle.

WOW, absolutely beautiful shots Tina. Great pose on both and a great low perspective.

Nice shots, horizon line on the first is off a bit though. Keep it up!

Thankyou everyone for your lovely comments, muchly appreciated.

Birdboy...first one is tricky, he is actually standing on a slope (different bird to the second one), so I think the horizon is okay. If I straighten it totally, then I feel the bird looks funny, as in leaning back too far. I might though, change it a bit, as it could possibly be out of kilter a tiny bit. Thanks for your thoughts.
