I use a Crumpler Thirsty Al. It's not the smallest but I like the velcro instead of a zipper (easy to remove) and it can quickly attach to your belt.

I really like this Lowepro Apex 30AW case for my new S100-- room for extra cards, at least one extra battery, cleaning lens, and more. Has a nifty built-in rain cover like the big pro bags. Easy to use Velcro type belt loop, it's secure. 25 bucks.

I bought this one, http://www.amazon.com …TF8&qid=1326998370&sr=1-1 (external link)

A little more expensive but works well and compact too. Plus it looks really nice :)

^^I like that one above ^^. Don't know if it's your pictures that make the case look good but that looks cool! Is it easy to insert & remove the S95? I might use this for my S100.

I liked that case too, so I looked it up on Amazon. After reading through the user ratings, I was a bit concerned about the fit with the S90-100 cameras. It seems several responders were upset about how tight the fit was for those bodies, some even resorted to "smashing the sides" to break-down the stiffener material making the fit a bit looser.

You might want to take a look if you are serious about this case ... of course Amazon has a great return policy if it doesn't fit.

Lowepro Tahoe 10 for me. It fits the S95/S100 perfectly and has a zippered compartment in front for a spare battery. I bought at my local Best Buy for about $10.

It's fine. I don't use it much any more as I went waterproof on a 5mm rope.

I have the same case, once you put a sheet of foam on the top it's like the case was designed for the S100 :D

I've been looking for an Apex 20 high and low (I've had the Apex before and loved it!), but can't find it :( One store said that most people simply don't spend 25 bucks for a compact case, when the shelves are overflowing with cases for $15, but I think the Apex is definitely worth the few bucks extra.

I definitely don't need space for spare cards etc in a compact’s case. With three various family compacts to service, I carry 5 or 6 charged batteries and a number of cards in a separate case.
