Hey guys and girls, I have recently done some updates on my site and wanted some opinions. I really like what I have so far but I know some people hate splash pages and flash and I was just wondering if it works sometimes. I'm still working on the flash part of it by adding more photos and different sub portfolios but everything is 90% done.

Let me know if I should keep it the way it is, lose the music, splash page or anything else you dont like.

Thanks!

keep the music off with an option to turn it on if you're going to do music at all, nothing's worse than going to a page and getting startled by loud music because your speakers were turned up high. I think the splash page is rather pointless and everything else could be done with html5.

I would love to have it done in HTML5 but the problem is finding somebody to do it for a reasonable rate.

have you considered using wordpress and finding a purchasable downloadable theme to fit your needs? I've had a ton of success with that route, paying $35 for access to a ton of great html5 and javascript themes with licenses to use them for commercial work.

I have, but I havent found a theme that I like other than ProPhoto which I'm already using. They all look too businessy to me.

Same goes for joomla.

When I read you have a splash page, music and flash, I didn't bother to look at it. ;)
