Hellfire Bay

Shot late in the afternoon in what I have found to be a very difficult location: the pm sun is always in the wrong spot all year round so this must be an am location.

Still, visiting this place several times a year has opened up a few interested vantages for shooting.

Though the sky is quite plain, I do like the composition of this shot.

I'm looking at your photograph from an iPhone so this comment might be off base. It looks like the horizon might be at the slightest tilt, down towards the left side.

That said, it is dramatic scene and you caught that wave curl very nicely. Terrific light too.
