Men wearing longyis, typical Burmese cloth, are worshipping at Shwedagon pagoda in Rangoon, Burma September 1987.

This is a scanned slide, orginal picture taken with Canon A-1.

More pictures from Shwedagon >here< (external link).

Thanks Christian! When I was scanning the slides, I noticed that Kodahrome has best preserved the colors. The scanning programs are nowadays doing a good job as well.

;) Still thousands of slides and even bigger number of negatives are waiting for scanning (luckily not all worth of that). I have now posted a few tens of those I took in Burma (external link) in my blog. - Thank you Sniper.

A side note: I just scanned tri-x negatives taken 40 years ago (external link), they are now more valuable than ever.

Wow some awesome memories caught on those Tri-x Negatives the "Karelia: Edward Vesala" guy playing the drums is my fave shot. Not to make you feel old but I wasn't born until 10 years later '81. Again thanks for sharing it looks as if that photography session was a blast. I am a huge fan of Jazz and i will be researching some of the Finnish Jazz musicians you have posted in your blog.

:lol: I don't feel old at all.:lol: Now, thinking the time I took the pictures, have to wonder how young I was then.

Finnish jazz scene is very interesting also today. You will enjoy your jazzy journey.
