Looking for a prime, mainly for movies on the 5DII.
50 f1.4 vs 35 f2, I prefer the focal lenght of 35mm vs 50mm but prefer the USM and f1.4 of the 50mm...

Just like in photos, the speed of the lens will mostly be used for creative DOF uses, not what you'll always be using. IMO, the FL you want will be more important than the slight speed increase from 2 to 1.4. My junk

I have a couple of manual focus Praktica lenses .. a 135mm f2.8, and a 35mm f2.8 with a M42 screw to EOS adapter. Cheap & sharp.
