What do you prefer for a digital front end? I've messed around a little with Foobar 2000, but always ended up back with iTunes for simplicity and because I use an iPod in our vehicles.

I also really dislike iTunes. Didn't much care for Foobar. I have MediaMonkey Gold which is quite powerful but my all-time favorite and the one I use every day is AlbumPlayer:

Album Player looks quite nice.

Somehow I knew it would have ASIO support and audiophile features. I saw your speakers. :)

If I get a Maxisoft, I'll sell that one to Pi like I did last time. :)

Wonder where Luke's been... I would think that MJS would of been particularly interesting to him.

Well, Ladies and Gentlemen, I've thrown in the towel and ordered a Maxilite. I can't imagine that it will ship today, so it will ship tomorrow and I'll have it Thursday.

I can't believe that this was an afterthought for me and I'm going to have mine before Sheldon gets his Maxilite.

Oooooh! That's mean!!!

At least I don't have to do the test I promised you comparing the HP Sports Reflector to the Maxilite now. :)

I'm looking forward to seeing the results of your test. :)

*Pi summons Adorama Rep*

*Its not very effective*

[/insidejoke]

Gezzus, i have a long way to go before i catchup, im sure the day will come when you'll have used them ALL and will be wondering what the hell happened, super clamps are like that.... but on almost all of mine, the rubbers gone off, thats the only thing that saddens me, oh and some of mine didn't come with the detachable corner piece.

This made me lol Dave.

The weak link in your chain is iTunes. God how i hate iTunes, i think i would be able to enjoy Macs alot more if it wasn't for iTunes :(

There's nothing in any of the Apple computer that says they won't work unless you use iTunes. So, if you don't like it, don't use it. ;)

I don't use iPhoto, iDVD, etc., that comes with the Apples and I'm not missing a single thing. :D

Well, I've had my eye on it before MJS and I happen to get the notification from B&H last night about the Maxilite being in stock. I tossed it around a few times today and needed to place an order with B&H, so when I placed my order I made a last minute decision to buy it. Who knows how long they'll have them and then how long until they're back in stock again.

I knew I wanted one and was just making excuses.

I'm sure I'll do some testing in my studio environment and perhaps even use it on a Fall location shoot I've got coming up.
