Finally got my new monitor set up and running, all profiled and looks great! Lots of screen real estate now...

Dell U2711 main monitor, Dell 2408WFP second screen.

Thanks guys! I have to say thank you to Dave too for passing on the link for the great deal on the 2711. I was going to wait until next year and tax return, but the price was too good to pass up now.

Alot Cleaner then my desk. I love the speed of using two monitors.

This whole shoot was shot with a quadra some in the store and some in my studio.

I thought of doing it, but then realised that I'm not shooting enough video to bother really. :)

I thought it had time lapse?

drew barrymore + like 3 paras used as set pieces. you know some photog on the set was like, "oh we need these they will make great background props" ... then quietly takes them off the set after the shoot is over.

they look like the big-uns too

Don't do time lapse either, but for that you can use Canon software. It have basic time lapse tool, e.g. trigger camera every now and then for certain period of time. :)

Very nice setup, Sheldon, but ported speakers? The U2711 deserves a pair of Mini Maggies:

The newest 5d2 firmware wasn't supported when i last checked, but i do remember it doing hdr aeb and timelapses as well as focus stacking and a bunch of other features that may be useful to a photographer not just video.

Nice monitors sheldon, but who are you fooling this looks like a CSI Clean up. Nice headset, whats your game?

Yes, very nice indeed. I have that monitor on the right and have been badly wanting the one on the left. What was the special price that you paid? Also, what mounting system is that for the two screens?
