"modest" Musorgsky would have crapped his pants if he met this guy

Maybe, but we were talking about sound tracks to go with the images shown on the monitors and if that rendition were used as a sound track to the tele tubby thing it would need to be controlled as a weapon of mass destruction.

Finally got my new monitor set up and running, all profiled and looks great! Lots of screen real estate now...

Dell U2711 main monitor, Dell 2408WFP second screen.

Very nice, Sheldon. Your office makes mine looking like a disaster zone.

Alot Cleaner then my desk. I love the speed of using two monitors.

This whole shoot was shot with a quadra some in the store and some in my studio.

Cool calendar, Scott. I wouldn't mind hanging one of those in my office. ;)

Did someone say Para?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m212RFD1J-o (external link)

So, I've been using mine the wrong way all this time. I've been placing my Para out of sight in the foreground, not in the background behind of the model.

we should post shots of our workspaces. i would need to clean mine up a bit though....

I'll post mine sometime in the middle of 2012 since that's how long it'll take for me to clean up my office. :|

krb wrote in post #13591761 (external link)
Yeah, seeing his pic kinda makes me feel motivated to clean my work space, but only kinda. Even if I had the energy there's a couple of items sitting there that are two heavy for me to lift right now. This recovering-from-abdominal-surgery-stuff sucks.

Sorry to hear about your surgery, Ken. I've been under the knife myself so I know it's no fun, especially during recovery. Wishing you a speedy recovery. :)

I love the Monty Python-ish Fireball with Pi's head on top.

Thanks for point that out, Robert. I totally missed that one since I don't bother looking through quotes other than to see whose quote it is.

Btw - for those interested. Just tested out the Wifi module... works rather nicely. There were of course a couple of bugs (This is a v1.0 release)... but only relating to group power changes and Quadra modeling light not turning on. Everything else was rather spot on.

I'll post a vid soon.

Looking forward to your review and video, Brendan. I'm curious to see what advantage, if any, the Eli Wifi + iPad has over the Eli USB Skyport + laptop.

My presents are free, too! That is, when they come from other people. LOL

BTW, please do not consider this as horizontal chit chat. I'm actually standing and vertical as I'm typing this so just keep waiting, OK?

Well i can tell you before even making the video that there probably isn't a whole lot of difference. I never purchased the USB version, so now that the iPad version came out, it pushed me to give it a shot. I think this App is a bit more intuitive and easier to use simply because you don't need a mouse or trackpad etc..

Tis all subjective though.
