Mmm, i never had Sake... How is it? Do you ever warm it up?

I've never had TY KU before but I just opened the bottle and tried a little bit of it. And it's pretty good. Smooth. :)

It's recommended that this sake be served chilled so I'll tried it again later after it's had a chance to chill in the fridge.

I've had sake chilled, at room temp and warmed depending on the recommendation printed on the bottle. But like good brandy, good sake is not cheap. :|

I started drinking sake after I started watching the Japanese jidaigeki movies and TV shows over more than a year ago. :)

Do the sushi you've had taste vinegared to you? That's the one complaint I have about the sushi I've had here in the States. The sushi I've had do not taste vinegared at all, not even a hint, and that's makes sushi a sushi, i.e. vinegared rice with something on, in, or around it, like sashimi (raw fish), veggie and/or sea weed.

What does the department of redundancy department do? And what does the head of that department do, in particular?

Sushi isn't sushi without Sushi rice, which is rice soaked in rice vinegar.

You have to get it at the small time places. Places run by people who actually know how to prepare sushi correctly. 9 times out of 10 you'll get rice with stuff in a roll and thats it. and 9 times out of 10, I will eat it because I *LOVE* raw fish. but get it from a Japanese grocery or something like that where its prepared lovingly by a couple of old Japanese ladies in the back, oh man... the differences is unbelievable.
