... but get it from a Japanese grocery or something like that where its prepared lovingly by a couple of old Japanese ladies in the back, oh man... the differences is unbelievable.

Or better yet, prepared lovingly by your friend's Okinawan mother in her own kitchen.

Thread's still open, the builder told us that he hoped V2 of the "official" plan would of been back to us on Christmas eve.

However knowing builders as we do, we took that with a significantly-sized grain of salt so we weren't disappointed in the least when it didn't !!

Builders up your way the same ? Normally I find if you convert to the next significant time-unit you won't be too far wrong..............

"I'll need to go and get some supplies, back in a couple of hours" (Monday am)....He should be there by Wednesday lunch-time

"Be ready in two days"........Look for it in two weeks

"That'll take about a week to organise".......Should be ready to go in a month !!

Cheers,

Austen.

I just want to take nice photographs of people.

this. when we were looking at our current place and i saw that 20x22 workshop, it was a done deal. i wasn't even doing photography at the time.... too many uses for a space like that to pass it up.

Some one (sorry I forget who) asked for comparison shots of the 150cm indirect octa before Christmas; here are a couple of the 100cm deep octa, the 150cm indirect and the maxi lite because it felt left out :) . All lit poorly with the quadra and eco ring flash.

Nice & Clean!

Thank you. :-)

The black walls in the new studio really let me control the light.

I could do with a little more room to ease the wrap off, but I think I got away with it in most of this set.

You'll be late for everything because the light was right and the action was good (magoosmc)

Have you seen this one:

In case you're wondering, that's an inverted Buzz Lightyear in there.

Dave F.

Wow Dave. Your timing couldn't have been any more perfect. I see this, then 15 minutes later one of my good friends posted an image of himself on Facebook holding his new Christmas present... a Buzz Lightyear action figure. Needless to say, I had to post this picture and warn him to be careful not to slip and fall on it. :)

Ahh, the gift that says a lot about what people think about you.

My kids got me some "Ghost Pepper Salsa" and were delighted that it was too hot for me to eat comfortably.

you can keep the Noink stuff but i'll gladly buy the 35L and the 300L

Make me an offer I can't refuse. :)

my new years resolution is not to be an Eli hoarder

That's a good one. I must admit I'm dangerously close.

i'm not, i'm trying to piss him off, oh and Sheldon too, he says i never multiquote Pfftt

There goes your post count....

I didnt want to open new thread for this, so asking here.

I would like to buy an Elinchrom Ranger RX and realized the cord for the head is only 3m. Its so disappointing. I would like to use it with two heads and a maximum distance between the lights can only be 6m?!
I also found extension cable which is 4m. Im wondering why they think that we dont need long cables...So that extension cable is connected to the normal 3m cable and therefore I will get 7m cable?! Can I connect say three extension cables and therefore have 15m cable?

And do you know why is so unbelievable expensive that cable, because I cant image why....
