Did I hear shopping...

No, it's the sound of the dust settling after everyone leaving.

It's spooky isn't it ?

Guys, I have a question....hope you can drive me through this "issue"

I want/need to shoot a silhouette, kinda this way but with just one light:
http://nik.smugmug.com/photos/370290887_ppdir-L.jpg (external link)

correct me if wrong...what i need is:
- strip box
- grid for it
- gobos or something to control spill of light
- eventually black bg black floor and high ceiling

am i right?
is there a way I can achieve something like that without aaall these stuff (that I don't have at the moment)? ? ??

Please let me know...it is very important

Cheers and TIA

Just looks like two strip box's probably gridless on each side of her.

Maybe some cutters keeping the light off the background.

Should do it.

You should be able to do it with two strip boxes and nothing else. You just have to move further away from the backdrop. Also, I think decent size soft boxes should work too if you don't have the strip boxes. You just have to play with positioning (by inches) and take test shots.
