Nope...not even close.

Matter of fact...I am out...it was fun.

Inane comes to mind when I view some of the posts (I won't mention names).

Back to the subject of Elinchrom. I was fortunate enough to purchase a used BXRi500 from another member here. It works most excellently. The modeling bulb did burn out, but I won't hold it against him. He, unfortunately, decided that another lighting line would work better for him. You know the old saying about leading a horse to water.

Anyway, I hope all of you enjoyed mothers day, or should I says to you boyz, Muthaz Day.

Oh, and I forgot to tell everybody that I think my mannequin is pregnant. I hope it's a girl that grows up to look like a mannequin I saw outside of Macey's once. I wonder what the postman looks like, could he be the father? I've had her for over a year now, maybe she was with child before I got her. Anybody know what the gestation period of plastic is?

Let's stop feeding the useless posts and talk about Elinchrom again. :)

I will start. Anyone use the Ranger RX system in studio and does it affect battery lifespan if you continuously run it while plugged into the charger? I thought I remember somewhere that the batteries in the Ranger RX AS do not exhibit memory effect.

I've never run mine in this scenario, but I can attest to not suffering from battery memory issues by charging before total discharge.

Ranger pacs are sweet.

Downside of using it this way is the power supply connection is the same one the Ranger-EL-Skyport Transceiver RX Adapter uses. BTW
