Wahoo, I'm joining the Elinchrom owners club now too, I ordered the Elinchrom BXRi 500/500 To Go kit, plus bought a 170cm (67inch) Octabox, and a 120cmx90cm(48x35inch) gridded soft box 2nd hand from a mate to go with the lights. Going to be a nice step up from my strobist kit consisting of 3x Nikon SB-28's, my canon 580ex II, westcott 28inch Apollo, and a couple of umbrella's plus a few other bits and pieces...

Now I probably should consider getting a light meter next...

DSLR Kit: Canon EOS 5D Mk II with Canon BG-E6, Canon 24-70mm F/2.8L, Canon 85mm F/1.8 USM, Canon 100mm F/2.8L IS Macro USM, Canon 70-200mm F/2.8L
Micro 4/3 Kit: Olympus OM-D EM5, Panasonic 14mm F2.5, Olympus M.Zuiko 25mm F1.8, Olympus M.Zuiko 45mm F1.8
Lighting Kit: Elinchrom BXRi 500/500, Canon 580EX II, 3x Nikon SB-28, Elinchrom Skyport Triggers

Nice kit, congrats on the new gear!

You woke the thread from its slumber too... 2 weeks is a record. I haven't seen it this quiet since the thread started years ago. :)

But that's what most of this thread is. It's the equivalent of the guys regular night at the local pup. The conversation is incidental. You're all here because you've got nothing better to do.

Whether is was intended to be that way, I have no idea, but it sured evolved into that.

Does anyone use a Pelican for two Quadra kits, or know which Peli would be a good fit?

The quadras are super small, I am sure you would not need anything big.
