I just wanted to take a minute to bid everyone here a farewell. 2014 is my last year servicing clients, but i won't really be active on these or any other forums once all my gear sells. Wish you all the best, it was a great run! :)

Yo guys, lithium quadras, how well do yours hold the charge level between use? Or even better, how much charge do your lithiums lose over say a month of storage? I'm pretty darn sure I'm seeing no where near the number of pops Elinchrom suggest .....

dbeugel wrote in post #16683238 (external link)
Ugh

Cheers Scott, pretty sure it's nowhere near that. I'm wondering if it's because it gets left for so long between use. I thought it would hold the capacity pretty steady. Ahhh well, I will test it straight after a full charge. It's pretty much brand new and in warranty.

I always charge up the battery before a planned shoot, but I do notice that after prolonged time without use the charge drops, longest period was ~2 months and it dropped 1/4 charge (only 3 LED lit up, instead of 4)

Hey thanks! How many pops on average are you seeing from a full charge?

Some really nice work he's posted. The aquarium shot will always stand out for me though.
