I have never really used more than +-100 full power pops on a shoot, that usually equals to 1 or 2 LED off the scale. Oskar (Oscar) - stuff I use- Flickr

I was thinking today, when my light meter read f/6.3 and I needed f/8.0 (2/3 stops higher).......How the hell do I work out how many presses of the power up button to equal 2/3 stops? I understand going a full stop is 10 presses by the way! My guess would be 7 presses? Am I right? Blurgh! LOL time to buy a light meter or chimp I AM SHOM

Why not press as many times as you think you need, i.e. 7 times (which, btw, is close enough for the 2/3 stop increase you want), and then take another reading to see if got it to f/8 or close to it. Fine tune the adjustment further if required. ...Leo

abbadon31 Goldmember More info | Feb 20, 2014 13:58 | #8999 I rather use 1/10 of 1/3 setting. I get a finer tuning of the light. One thing I have to get use to using a 360 which is in 3rds I AM SHOM
