The song writer asked me to help him by shooting this video. The music, lyrics, story, look and concept are his. I shot and edited it.

He would like to publish it and is seeking Record Labels and Music Publishers - any advice on how to go about it or offers are welcomed.

Comments, criticisms are welcomed - although its the song writers creative choice to implement (I'll try if you give me the feedback).

Video is password protected - password is John

Singer is the song writers son - he was in Angelis in 2006 and relased on SonyBMG. He doesn't want to be known or linked to the work now - bad experience as a young boy. I guess its more of a sheet music deal or anyone who might want to record it as a Christmas release?

Nice job, just one small nit pic, the top of her head is clipped in the opening sequence, not a big deal but something to watch when framing.

Nice video. I'm sad to say (from the song perspective) the video is more powerful than the song. The song lacks presence and feels recorded rather than produced. Sad, as it is obviously a heart felt tribute to someone lost but, regrettably, comes across as a little saccharine.

I was also wondering, from a concept point of view, why the images don't fade into ethereal (nice word) sketches of memory rather than the other way around. Should the memories not fade rather than become more real and wouldn't it make more sense having pictures in a photo album rather than sketches....the photos then generate memories which fade into sketchiness?

Thanks John - all good ideas. I didn't think of it that way - was just using some effects for 'a look' these are from the template we used. Although I liked the idea of sketchy memories becoming clearer by looking back at old photos. I thought the sound file was a little flaky myself - it distorts and clips at the peak of the song.

Sadly, I can't change the soundtrack or song, of course. I did ask for a better version - but none was provided. Will take your suggestions into account. Nice to hear you thought the video was more powerful, I was worried it was the other way around.

Thank again for the feedback.

The only thing I'm not getting is why it is a boy singing it but a girl in the video.
