I've just been playing with my PSE 8. Best way I've found to do a tag search is to click the "display" button in the upper right of the organizer and select "thumbnails". That will enable you to see all the results of your search at one time without having to click each folder to see if there are any results in them. As far as initiating the search goes, click on the "organize" tab on the right of the organizer and find the tags you have set up. Find the one you want to search for, e.g. "Amy", and put a check mark in the box. Voila, all your images you have tagged with "Amy" should appear as thumbnails in the image preview section. I say "should" because it is well known that the Organizer is not without some serious issues. In fact the newest issue of PCWorld magazine talks about the organizer's problems, and that is in Version 10. So, not a whole lot has been solved.

Regards,
Bob

You could even tag them as person 'Amy' and event 'Baby Shower' :)

That's the approach I take. Look at the PSE standard categories and build from there.

Was just playing with it and got a few tag titles put in with pics. The process seems odd though, probably because the program is brand new to me.....a learning process ahead.

I think it's unfamiliarity. You can select multiple pics in the organiser and drag and them on the tag or vice versa if my memory serves. Either way it soon becomes intuitive.
