So My friend recently got married and asked me to be the photographer. since this was a first i really want to know what i need to work on!

I like them. They are good shots. Only thing,with #3 you should have broke the twig off to show the brides face clearly.

#'s 1 & 2 good...as said, you shoulda removed leaf...hands are messed up by light/shade.

Very good! With time you will begin to notice the little things (like the leaf mentioned) before you shoot. Some creative editing in PS could remove it I think. Great shots

Same as above. great shots. leaf and the light is eye catching in the last one.

Not bad at all. It appears you hit focus and the color in #1 looks good. Exposures look pretty good too. Try to avoid mottled light as in the hand shot - it seldom results in a useable image.

And, despite the fact the he was your friend, a wedding is the bride's day.;)
