Is anyone using FR602s to remote fire? I just tried it last night and cant get the camera to focus on half press. Is this because I have back button focus on? (this just occured to me as I was writing this) or is it not compatible with the 5D2?

I think that may be the issue yeah.

If you mean the RF-602 C3s, yes. Mine worked. Just turned them on, cabled the on-camera unit and bingo. Sounds like a settings issue as long as you have the C3s and they are both connected correctly and have the same dip switch settings.
