wooT wooT! Thanks guys, going to try to start contributing to this thread today! The battery grip for me is a must, I have bear paw hands and rinky dink bodies with no grips are a no-go. Actually funny story about the grip is I purchased the grip two weeks before I even received the body! You can only imaging the torture of sitting there looking at that BG-EG box for that long......

More agony is waiting for TWO batteries to charge before you can play with it. Fortunately, I was able to at least play with the menu and get everything set the way I wanted it before having to pull the batteries out to charge them. I can say I got to play with the camera right out of the box.
