These are great! Perfect exposures on an adorable baby.

One thing Ive seen and will use in the future for shots like this is to put a design of black tape over the large square softbox so that it looks like a window in the catchlight. All the photography nerds will go ga-ga over it. ;)

Thank you for your comment and the tip :)

Just to share a shot from the wedding where I was hired as a second shooter apart from the main photographers, a bunch of cheaters with 60Ds and 18-55 kit lens, just look at them shooting at each other LOL bw!

Been having some second thoughts. Im very indecisive about new gear acquisition.

Its either: 1) adding a 5D3 + 70-200L II to my current line up OR 2) Zeiss 35/50/85 + 70-200L II to my line up

WHAT DO

A lot of people say option A because it's the new shiny camera ;)
I'd go option B anyday of the week.. Difference in IQ with MkIII is minimal, despite being a much better camera in other aspects..
Glass will make so much difference in IQ..
Now all you have to do is see what is more important to you.. The MkIII advantages over MkII or the IQ that the impressive new lineup you want will bring?

I have to disagree with anyone who says option 1. I would personally go with option 2 because I would much rather have glass over a new camera that is improved by a little. The 5D3 really only has the benefit of AF and a bit better ISO performance, but I find myself never even shooting above 3200 ISO so I wouldn't need the ISO performance. If you're shooting sports obviously the 5D3 would be the best option but there are much better cameras for that if you need it for that.

Also, instead of a zeiss 85 (some may disagree), I would definitely recommend and 85L II.

great photo. Love the look that the flares give. Did you edit that in or was that natural?

Thank you too! It was edited. Added a little touch to that.
