Dell is selling the UltraSharp U2313HM 23" e-IPS monitor for $239 (+ tax, but free shipping) on Ebay (external link). I don't know how long it will be on sale for, but they say limited time & limited quantity. This is sold directly from Dell on Ebay so you do get a 3 year warranty.

I've been looking at upgrading for a while and this monitor has pretty good reviews. It's not the greatest, but it's much better than what I have now. I've been watching the price and it's been offered on dell.com with a $50 discount off and on. This sale on Ebay is $80 off and includes free shipping (which would've been $19 for me). It's supposed to be really good for gaming as well as it has almost no input lag.

Check out the rating for Dell on Ebay - yikes!! 97% - that is terrible. Stick with Dell direct if you want to buy from them - it's worth the price difference.

On Ebay it is. Anything under 99% and you should be looking closely at the ratings and see why. And anyting under about 98.5% and most careful buyers will pass. Of course, you have to look at the total numbers - a new seller can get a terrible rating from just one low score, so you need to use common sense and take a closer look. But a power seller with anything below 99% can be a seller that is great as long as all goes well, but usually has problems responding to problems...

I guess if you trust Dell more than Dell, you should just buy it directly from Dell.:lol:

Seriously, it's the same company. My receipt came from Dell Inc. from a Dell.com email address. The Ebay deal is $80 off with free shipping. Dell.com has it (on and off) for $50 off + shipping ($19 for me). Tax might be more for some of us than others, but it's a pretty good price. I didn't want to spend $700 for a monitor right now, so this should do well. Saving the extra $50 from ordering directly is what made me pull the trigger.
