Each year, around this time, I make a donation to the charity, WHYHunger www.whyhunger.org
, for their yearly major fundraising event, Hungerthon. This year, with the death of Clarence Clemons, I dug deep to find a photo that showed the love and respect that Bruce had for the Big Man and I think I picked just the right one.
I've told the story before on how Harry Chapin took me, a then 15 year old boy, aside before a concert and told me, for over an hour, how I could make a difference and help change something that didn't need to be; people going to bed at night not knowing where there next meal was coming from. I've been a part of the then World Hunger Year and now rebranded WHYHunger for close to <gasp> 40 years now and we are still trying to continue Harry's vision of world without hunger.
I am especially proud of this photo and the outpouring of bids it has recieved already and can't wait to see what the final bid will be. Here is a link to the auction of the photo. http://www.charitybuzz.com/catalog_items/285277
I hope you like this photo and if you can help out in any manner; a bid, a Facebook post. a Twitter tweet or even checking out the other items available at www.hungerthon.org
I know that I've been a bit scarce recently but I am coming out of a bit of a woodshedding period and have quite a few new photos to show.
