If I had a job that actually gave me a normal income I wouldn't mind supporting local shops but I'm a teen living off a bit more than min. wage job barely paying for the stuff I own

Yep, I fully understand. :D

How bads the ISO on the 1d? I mean anything over 1k on my 7D and I really don't feel comfortable cause if it is underexposed there will be some serious noise reduction.

Btw anyone have a good option without using just luminance for NR?

Well I don't know how bad it is, it's just a lot more limited. I think it's max is 1600 expandable to 3200.

it really helps over exposing the shot. So if your shooting 1/100 at iso160 sometimes i got better results shooting 1/100 at 3200
the noise reduction in LR3 is great!:)

Ooooh ok yeah well if I have to use anything above 1600 I'm skeptical but anything above 3200 and I don't even bother taking the picture ;)

dude i shoot above 1600 on a 7D no problem the ISO performance is great.... i think your pixel peeing to much :lol:

I use DeNoise for really noisy stuff other wise LR3 NR works really good
