Ignoring the pipe in the background do you guys and gals think the out of focus face in this picture detracts from the image. The photo hasn't been through any processing only cropped. Feel free to process whatever is necessary. Harsh CC on any other aspects that need improving is more than welcome.:D

I'm afraid it is distracting. My eyes keep getting drawn back to her face in an attempt of put it in focus which of course I can't. Is that oof or motion blur?


Bless the recently fallen and their family and friends.
I have a Cannon with me at all times. You can't take the shot if you don't have something with which to shoot. :rolleyes:

thanks. it's motion blur. Just checked the file and the centre AF point in AI servo is on her sholder. The picture was taken at 70mm f/4.0 1/125 using a 24-70. I would have been about 7 or 8 meters from her.

Nah I can't take pics when a damsel is in distress:D. The photo is actually from a dance troop who put together a passionate and intense dance piece at Trafalgar Square recently. The hose in the background was connected to a fire truck which they used to simulate a torrential downpour.
