I will soon be heading to Disney World for a family vacation. I am planning to bring my S95 and my Olympus E-P3. The S95 will easily fit in my pocket. The E-P3 will not.

Does anyone have good and easy way to carry around a small camera? On days when I am doing a lot of shooting I will probably just where it on a strap. When I am out and about in the parks it would be good to have a way to easily and securely carry it.

Thanks in advance for the advice.

There are many cases available for different devices, made to be worn on belts or clipped to something. Merely has to fit your camera! These are but a couple of examples found in a minute. I am sure that different versions of similar things can be found in stores like Target and Dollar Store and many other stores! Two of three dimensions fit an S95, on the first example...something out there exists that would work. The second item is for P&S camera.

Photo stores often carry a wide inventory of aftermarket P&S cases made for general cameras, not a specific model. Just find one that fits.

Fanny pack might work. I used one with my Minolta A200 years ago. Plenty of room.

Shampoo sounds like an unfortunate name for a hair product.

Fanny pack. You can carry that all through the park and on rides. Never do a handbag. You can leave it somewhere.

I keep mine around my neck on a lanyard. The camera is so light it doesn't bother me and it's ready to shoot quickly. Also this set up keeps me from dropping it or leaving it somewhere.

And they are CHEAP ;-)a

I thought this is why they invented cargo shorts.

How do you like the case? Is it useful?

Thanks,

The problem with cargo shorts is that the pockets are where the camera gets bumped and dinged, when your legs or hip or butt strikes something nearby. I find the waist front is one of the least likely parts to bump into something, even skiing in the snow! So something easily repositioned on a waist belt I find to be generally the best placement.

get a small sling bag. they're cheap and you can toss everything in there to keep your pockets free. they sling forward to both allow easy access to the camera and you won't have to take it off to sit down for security.
